Berserkers is a unit in Ancestors Legacy, produced at the Barracks.
Background[ | ]
Berserkers are based off of Norse tales of warriors that would go into a blind rage killing both friend and foe in a trancelike state ie going berserk.
Appearance[ | ]
Base Appearance
The Berserkers have no real armour except for a select few warriors with wolf pelts draped upon their left shoulder. All warriors have tattoos and small bits of war paint. A seax knife and two spare axes are found on their hips.
Armour I Appearance
The Berserkers now all have Gjermundbu style helmets as well as the aforementioned wolf pelts being paired with another wolf pelt for some warriors, the same warriors also sport chainmail sleeves on their arms.
Armour II Appearance
The Berserkers all have chainmail hauberks and some warriors now have full mail aveintails

Throw Axes- Throws spare axes while charging.
Frenzy- Increases attack, speed, and damage.

Due to the Berserkers inability to retreat while in combat these warriors are best suited to an engagement you know you can win, they have a devastating charge on par with some cavalry and great mobility, this paired with offensive specialization means that they have the potential to destroy entire squads without taking any damage
Use the abilities Frenzy and Throw Axes to punch through enemy frontlines and carve a path to you’re objective.
